well i have been working on the
gladiator game..
and if we're on the subject:
Location is top priority, all of
us must understand the critieria
the spot must be available to us at that
time, meaning people wont drop by for a picnic
and that it relativitly is close
( 20min from tel-aviv max
and easy to get there

keep in mind that i'm creating somthing
new, more of a show than a game which
will imply all our skills that we have fun with
in LARP games think of it as a Ancient WWF
meets Soul Caliber..

Before I go on about the plot of
the whole thing i'd like to see who will play what
out of the people here,think about it

By then perhaps an Admin should Re-post

well, ideally aprivate place will always take priorty
meaning someones backyard or other privatly
owned place , this will give us a place to prepare
before the event andwe will not be interfered while the event itself
keep in mind , we want people (friends) to come aswell so it
cant be a rough terrain...

if anyone has been to a game in ness-ziona ,(couple years back) l
that was a good place because it was close to street ,near a water source and NO ONE (rarely) goes
to the orchids at night which gave us the freedom to roleplay without onlookers
and because we are planning something especially flamboyant
it will surely attract a crowd which frankly do not need to be put up with.

now a little on the game:
we need fighters of ALL STYLES
Musicians (any kind of percussion,dij ,jawharps any
other authentic instrument PLS NO GUITARS
2 bartenders
if other people have entertainment skills as juggling ,acrobatics
clown sketch* fire breathing,poise swingers, all will be welcome

we will also need a person to film this event ,i probably got a guy for
it but ask around anyways , mind you this is important
although we are a team of roleplayers we are not known for authenticity
and creating a deep and dramatic ambience (with exeptions!!)l

Here is where we correct that. Now we will make basic stage props as
banners and flags(more on that later) and all will do their best with their own costumes
the format of the game is basic enough for us to pull off one heck of a show,
This, as mentioned before will be filmed and produced to serve us as a Trailer/Featurette
for other upcoming events and undoubtably will be our first true Silverleafian Asset..

lihi can poise swing
bashmak can play jawharp (and throat sing)
dany edelsburg can bartend
i can film (10 m. pixel, 15 optical zoom, hd video, wide angle)
a fellow named snufkin can play the flute and more
on flags n banners we work already- trying to make it with stencils on cloth... not too easy...
you (juls) can do the fire-breathing and such

יש לי שני קאטארים, הם כבר קצת ישנים וממש לא בטיחותיים אבל זה קרבות תיאטראלים אז אפשר להישתמש בהם בכיף, והם נראים ממש מגניבים כשלובשים את שניהם.

אני גם ייכול להילחם, למרות שאף פעם לא הישתתפתי בקרב תיאטרלי של ממש, וזה מוביל לשאלה, קרב תיאטרלי, עד כמה הוא מבויים מראש? כול מהלך ומהלך? או רק בכלליות ומהלכים מאד ספיציפים שיש סימנים מוסכמים שלאחריהם הם יופיעו?

ואמרתי כבר שאני כנראה יכול לארגן בחינם בחור שעושה מופעי ג'אגלינג עם אש, אז אולי אפילו אפשר לביים קרב עם נשקים בוערים (הוא רק יצטרך פרטנרשיודע לעשות ג'אגלינג אש גם הוא בלי להיכוות...)

וכמובן שזה יהיה הרבה יותר מגניב אם תהיה מוזיקה חיה.

the fights will be theatrical in a way which will be fun to watch keeping that
in my mind, is key. we will incorperate many things in to fights to make them more dramatic like punches ,grapples all kind of acrobatics and
a fire match could be very cool..
the battles are NOT choreagraphed and players should practice beforehand with partners, the winner of a match
is deicided before the match OR the host will give secret signal OR if the match is edgey enough we will let the players deicide who will win

נס ציונה נשמע לי קצת רחוק, אלא אם כן יש תחבורה ציבורית שממגיעה בקלות לאזור של המשחק.

אני יכולה לעשות קצת ג'אגלינג, אומנם לא ברמה של אש (הרבה זמן לא עשיתי ואני ממש לא בטוחה שאני זוכרת איך לא לעלות את עצמי באש.) בל יש לי קצת יכולות.

בנוסף, אם מישהו צריך עזרה עם התחפושת שלו, הוא מוזמן לפנות אלי.

בנס ציונה יש פוליגון מהמם - שווה להגיע עד לשם, הירקון לא באמת עד כדי כך מתאים ללארפים נורמאליים, כל לארפ שהיה שם היה מקסימום "סביר עד טוב", אני מאמין שבנס-ציונה יהיה הרבה יותר הגיוני לערוך את הארוע!

the trees create a dome around the entire area
there will be 3 "rings" the center will, well, be in the center and the 2 others
will be set at either side to create a musicians pit, and a tavern
we will make benchs around made from cinderblocks and two-by-fours
the derelict house will be used as storage and "backstage" l
if we do it at day time we will have shade and if its at night ,
there's plenty of room for bonfires
and torces and what not..

נכין ספסלים..

בנוסף: יש קטע של אדמה בשיפוע קל הפונה
לכיוון הזירה אפשר להניח מזרונים ומחצלות

אכן יש קצת עבודה שצריך לעשות
קחו בחשבון שלא יגיעו סתם אלינו והמקום בבעלות
פרטית , וכן יש אישור..
